Turismo Enogastronomico tells the story of the island to those who want to discover it slowly, one taste at a time.
Turismo Enogastronomico is a travel magazine about the Sicily of wine and food: villages, cooking, festivals and itineraries for those who want to get to know the island in an authentic, slow and mindful way.
The project grew out of the experience of Quattrocieli, a family winery in the hills of Alcamo, between Palermo and Trapani. We tell the story of Sicily starting from the land, from daily work in the vineyards and from meeting those who choose to really live it.

Where to start
A family of winegrowers
Behind the magazine is the Alcamo family, who have grown vines in Alcamo for generations: first Leonardo, who bottled wine in the family garage, then his son Giuseppe, who in 2015 turned that project into Quattrocieli winery.
We write about the places we go to and the food we eat, and we recommend what we would recommend to a friend visiting us.
How we work
We write about places, dishes and traditions, checking information against reliable sources. Photos are our own or freely licensed, and in that case we always credit the author below the image.
We are transparent: when we talk about winery experiences, our recommendation is Quattrocieli, because it is our home. We prefer to say so openly.
